program overview
This is a two-week course with 3 x 2 hour virtual talk-shops (Lecture + workshop sessions), supported in session by a triad of learning archers for creative sparring and followed by as much self-directed work during the week as YOU want.
This online workshop is a self-directed opportunity to start exploring the Learning Arch Design Methodology for offline, online & hybrid learning. You will be introduced to how to visualise your learning designs and learning experiences to unlock student engagement and autonomy as well as provide you with a method to aid the reflection of your own personal and professional practice.

The Learning Arches (LAs) are a method for designing transparent, collaborative and experiential learning journeys or processes that maximise engagement, ambition, ownership, confidence and dialogue between the learners and hosts, facilitators, instructors or teachers as stakeholders of the learning
The course is built on and will follow this publication, which is taken from this larger publication, adapted for online learning arch design from this E.BOOK.
there will be:
3 x Learning Arch Design (LAD) sprints, 2 during the course and one in the week after the course ends to apply the last dose of learning.
You have the option to work as much as you like during the sprints and connect in your LAD triad groups as your group decides. This could be informal walk & talk session or short zoom calls for creative sparring, support and feedback session
There will also be other reference materials like the 'new' (beta version) Learning Design Element app and periodic poster (below), a few short perspective adjusting and confirming videos
There is no ongoing input or support from the course leader apart from the 3 x 2 hour sessions and a concise weekly prompt.
